I often see Oscar’s last words written as Either the wallpaper goes, or I do.
The actual quote is: My wallpaper and I are fighting a duel to the death. One or the other of us has to go.
However, it’s unclear if those were his actual last words or if he said them a few weeks before his death. It’s complicated seeing as how, after reverting back to Catholicism, there was a priest with him until the end.
He’s also quoted as saying: I am dying beyond my means, but I have no idea when he said that.
